How to Make Chicken Caesar Salad Pizza

Step 1: Preheat the Oven

Preheat your oven to 425°F (220°C).

Step 2: Prepare the Chicken Pizza Crust

If you're using boneless, skinless chicken thighs, place the raw chicken in a food processor and process until finely ground.

Add the ground chicken to the food processor along with the garlic, egg, salt, black pepper, paprika, Italian seasoning or oregano, and Asiago or Parmesan cheese.

Process everything thoroughly until well combined.

Step 3: Form the Chicken Crust

Lightly spray a pizza pan or sheet pan with olive oil or avocado oil spray.

Add the chicken mixture to the pan and spread it into a very thin layer.

You can make one large pizza or divide the mixture into several mini pizza crusts. The shape doesn't have to be perfectly round.

For mini pizzas, the mixture can make approximately 8 small crusts.

The thinner you make the crust, the better the texture will be, so spread the mixture as thin as possible.

Step 4: Bake

Bake the chicken crust at 425°F for 16–20 minutes.

Start checking the crust around the 15-minute mark, since oven temperatures can vary.

Once the chicken is fully cooked, remove the crust from the oven.

Step 5: Make the Homemade Caesar Dressing

While the chicken crust is baking, prepare the Caesar dressing.

Add the mayonnaise, Greek yogurt, Dijon mustard, apple cider vinegar, lemon juice, minced garlic, diced anchovies (if using), salt, black pepper, and Parmesan cheese to a bowl.

Mix thoroughly.

Taste and adjust the seasoning according to your preference.

If the dressing is too thick, add a little extra lemon juice or a couple of tablespoons of water until you reach your desired consistency.

Step 6: Prepare the Caesar Salad

Chop the romaine lettuce and place it in a large bowl.

Add the Caesar dressing and toss until the lettuce is evenly coated.

For the best texture, avoid adding more dressing than you need.

Step 7: Assemble the Pizza

Remove the cooked chicken crust from the oven.

Top the crust with the dressed Caesar salad.

Finish with extra shredded Parmesan and plenty of freshly cracked black pepper.

Add any optional toppings you like, such as crispy bacon, tomatoes, or avocado.

Slice and enjoy!

Tips for the Best Chicken Caesar Salad Pizza

Make the Chicken Crust Thin

This is the most important tip. Spread the chicken mixture into a very thin, even layer so it cooks properly and creates a sturdy pizza base.

Don't Overdress the Lettuce

Start with a smaller amount of Caesar dressing and add more if needed. This keeps the romaine crunchy instead of soggy.

Customize Your Toppings

There's no need to stick with the basic toppings. Bacon, tomatoes, avocado, extra Parmesan, or other favorite pizza toppings can make this recipe your own.

Serve Immediately

For the best combination of textures, assemble the Caesar salad pizza shortly before serving.

Can I Use Chicken Thighs Instead of Ground Chicken?

Yes! If you don't have ground chicken, you can use boneless, skinless chicken thighs.

Simply process the raw chicken thighs in a food processor until finely ground, then continue with the recipe as written.

Is Chicken Caesar Salad Pizza Low Carb?

This recipe uses a chicken-based crust instead of traditional flour pizza dough, making it a lower-carb alternative to conventional pizza.

The exact carbohydrate and protein content will depend on the specific brands and quantities of ingredients you use.

What Makes This a High-Protein Dinner?

The chicken-based crust provides a substantial protein source, while Parmesan and Greek yogurt contribute additional protein.

Instead of a traditional flour crust, this recipe uses seasoned chicken as the base, making it a creative option when you're looking for a protein-packed dinner.

What to Serve With Chicken Caesar Salad Pizza

This pizza can be served on its own as a satisfying meal, or paired with:

Roasted vegetables

Fresh fruit

A simple side salad

Steamed vegetables

Your favorite healthy side dish

Frequently Asked Questions

Can I make mini Chicken Caesar Salad Pizzas?

Absolutely! Divide the chicken mixture into smaller portions and spread each one into a thin mini crust. The recipe can make approximately 8 mini crusts, depending on how large and thin you make them.

Can I add bacon?

Yes! Crispy chopped bacon pairs especially well with the Caesar salad, Parmesan, and chicken crust.

Can I skip the anchovies?

Yes. Anchovies are optional, but they add the classic savory umami flavor associated with Caesar dressing.
